I first came to the center as a client and was motivated to help others so I joined the staff here continued my schooling at Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT) and eventually became a counselor here.
I believe I bring a positive attitude and knowledge of how to change your life from addictions as I was successful in breaking the cycle of addiction and behaviors that held me stuck.
Favourite way of supporting clients:
My favorite way of helping clients is to give them my ear so they may talk in a non-judgemental and confidential manner.

I am very proud to work at Wilp Si'Satxw as it helped me so much on my journey and now, I get to pass the knowledge down to others to help them on their healing journey's.
My tips for self-care/ or self care that I find valuable include:
My tips for self-care are to attend cultural activities such as the sweat lodge which grounds me and strengthens my spirituality. Also treating yourself to something to relax and help strengthen your body and immune system such as traditional medicines or foot baths. I also developed hobbies such as my video game collection that has all the old school games from my youth
